A vintage matinee jacket in both 3ply and 4ply
The Carolyn Cardi pattern was my mothers pattern she knitted for all her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews, the original pattern developed over time and was written down on a well used scrap of paper.
We have deciphered the notes and made this beautiful pattern and named it the Carolyn (Carol) Cardi after Mum.
Constructed from the bottom up with a delicate lace yoke, this cardi is sure to become a cherished piece for generations to come.

TENSION:
3ply – 32 sts and 40 rows to 10 cm [4 ins] over stst on 3 mm [2.5 US] needles.
4ply – 28 sts and 36 rows to 10 cm [4 ins] over stst on 3.25 mm [3 US] needles.

4ply – One pair each size 2.75 mm [2 US], 3.25 mm [3 US] knitting needles, stitch holders and 3 buttons.
