Return Policies

We are happy to exchange any products purchased from the Ashford Craft Shop. If you wish to return any products, please ensure that you are in contact with us, prior to returning your return/exchange item. It is to be returned to us in its original condition, with the original sales receipt within 28 days of purchase.

Exclusions: We will not pay for any postage charges that may incur when shipping return products back. Damaged labels, yarns or modified products will not be accepted as a return. Returned yarn will be weighed to ensure it is the same weight as when it left us. Knitting yarns that do not match the current batch number in store will not be given a refund or exchanged. Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Return payment will be given as the original payment method of sale.

Faulty Items

Faulty goods will be replaced, if possible. If replacement is not possible we will refund the item in the same form that payment was made.

Quality Assurance When you buy an Ashford product you can be assured that you are buying a quality product. The company has been in operation since 1934 and employs experienced and qualified tradesmen and women – many of whom have been with the company for over 25 years. A formal quality assurance program, Q Base, was implemented in 1998 and continues to this day. The Q-Base Code is based upon the ISO 9001 quality system standards. It requires us to implement management disciplines to assure quality of products and services. We are independently audited annually by Telarc SAI, a Systems Certification Body by JAS-ANZ (Joint Accreditation System – Australia and New Zealand) and our performance against eight standards, including meeting customer needs, training, work instructions, continual improvements, are measured and tested.

Bank Deposit :: If you wish to use this method, we will contact you with your processed order details including the shipping. Payment is required within 1 day from receiving these details. Products will be dispatched when funds are showing in our account. Account details are: ASB 12-3494-0018828-00 Knitcola Stitchery Ltd. Use your name for reference.
Credit Card :: We offer either Visa or MasterCard for payment. These card details can be entered into our secure payment page. The total amount, including shipping, will be charged to your credit card when your order is manually processed by us before dispatch. “Billing descriptor” – As per card statement, your transaction will be indentified as Ashford Craft Shop
Bank Cheque :: If using this method of payment; please ensure that your cheque is written out to ‘Ashford Craft Shop’ with all contact details on reserve of cheque. We can not accept cheques written out to Ashford Handicrafts Ltd as we are separate identity.
Overseas Orders :: Payment must be made via either Visa or MasterCard only.
